As a subcontractor filling out qualifications in the "TradeTapp Invites" tab, BuildingConnected remembers information from your most recent responses and will auto-populate your responses in common fields on all the questionnaires in your account.
This is intended to lighten your workload and limit the amount of manual entry you and your coworkers have to complete each time if prequalifications are requesting the same information about your company.
We also understand this may cause confusion if you are changing information question by question across different questionnaires, so we do suggest fully completing one general contractor's prequalification all at once, then moving on to the next. If any populated information is outdated or does not apply to next general contractor's prequalification, you can remove the incorrect content and enter in new information as desired.
You may also notice your most recent information populates in your "Submitted" questionnaires, however please note that updates do not automatically get sent to each general contractor you have prequalified with. The general contractor received what was in your application at the time that your team clicked "Submit" on that specific application, not what you currently may be seeing.
In order for the general contractor to see any updates, you must click "Submit" again on that particular application. Just like with a new application, this feature is intended to lighten the workload when it comes time to update your submitted prequalifications and similarly to above, you will need to remove any pre-populated documents or information that does not pertain to this particular general contractor.
