As a general contractor, you can remove bidders from projects if they belong in a different bid package, have declined to bid, or are not the correct point of contact within the company. Bidders can be removed from projects at any time, including before and after a project is published.
How to remove bidders before a project is published
To remove bidders before a project is published, click on the project then navigate to the bid package where the bidder is located.
Click on the bidder’s company name to show the bidders invited to the project, then click the small “x” to the right of the individual you wish to remove.
Before a project is published, you can also remove companies within a bid package. To do so, click the small “x” to the left of the company name. Removing the company will also remove all individuals added within that company.
How to remove bidders after a project is published
To remove bidders after a project has been published, click on the project then navigate to the bid package where the bidder is located.
Click on the bidder's company name to show the individuals invited to the project, then click the small “x” to the right of the individual you wish to remove.
Removing an individual from a project also removes the invitation from their Bid Board and prevents them from receiving future project notifications.
Removing bidders from projects does not prevent them from gaining access to a project from an invitation that their coworker received.
Please note that while you can remove all bidders within a company, you cannot remove the company itself once a project has been published. Please contact Support if you would like to completely revoke the company's access.
