As a subcontractor, once a general contractor invites you to fill out a qualification application that appears in your "Other Invites" tab, you can manage which coworkers are editors on questionnaires.
Any time a coworker with permission to access qualifications makes a contribution to a questionnaire, they are added to a list of “Editors” for that questionnaire. Editors can be added or removed at any time by anyone within your company.
One purpose of this feature is to help you keep track of team members who have contributed to qualification questionnaires and ensure that all editors who wish to receive notifications will receive an email if your company is asked to renew or revise your application.
How to add coworkers as editors on "Other Invites"
To add coworkers as editors, navigate to your Qualification section.
Click on the application you would like to add editors on.
Click on the “Editors” tab at the top of the application that opens up then type your coworker’s name in the “Add coworker by name” box. You can add them by clicking on their name, pressing “enter” on your keyboard, or clicking the orange “+” button.
Coworkers will not receive an email notification when they are added as editors on qualification applications. The only time editors will receive an email notification is when a general contractor requests a revision or renewal.
How to remove coworkers as editors
Once editors have been added, you can remove them at any time by clicking the small drop down arrow under the “Actions” column then clicking “Remove Editor.”
Please note that removing an editor will not send them an email notification or prevent them from contributing to the qualification application. If an editor is removed, the qualification will still appear in the "Other Invites" tab, where they can re-open the application at any time. Making any further contributions will re-add individuals as editors.
If you wish to revoke a coworker’s access to qualification applications, you can do so under the “Permissions and Settings” tab. For more information on how to do this, please reference the article, “How subcontractors can manage permissions in Qualification Manager.”
