As a subcontractor, there are two ways to add new bids to your Bid Board:
- Forward invites from your inbox to BuildingConnected (Bid Board Pro)
- Manually create a new bid from your Bid Board
This article will teach you how to manually create a new bid from your Bid Board. For more information on forwarding invites to BuildingConnected, please reference the article, “How to forward invites from your inbox to BuildingConnected (Bid Board Pro).”
How to manually add a new bid
Navigate to your Bid Board then click on the “+ Bid” button.
The following window will prompt you to enter details about the bid you are creating. Once the necessary details have been entered, click “Add Opportunity.”
Please note that the "Project Name" and "Client Email" fields are required in order to create a bid. BuildingConnected does not notify the client when their information is added. This information is only visible to your team.
Once you click “Add bid,” you will be taken to the bid overview tab where you can add more details about your bid. Once the overview page is complete, click “Save” to complete the process.
