BuildingConnected’s Bid Leveling feature makes it easy to confirm that the subcontractors you’ve invited to a project are all pricing the same scopes or services. If your subscription to BC Pro includes bid leveling, continue reading to learn how to access this tool.
1. If your office or company has purchased Bid Leveling, you can use this tool for any project you and your team have set up. To access this feature, start by selecting the appropriate project.
2. From there, click on the corresponding bid package.
3. Click on the “Bid Leveling” tab.
4. You will see the proposals submitted so far.
5. If you’ve invited bidders but haven’t received any proposals, your Bid Leveling tab will look like the screenshot below. You will have the option to add a proposal on behalf of the subcontractor:
6. If you haven’t invited bidders, your Bid Leveling tab will look like the screenshot below. You will have the option to invite bidders to the bid package:
