As a general contractor, you can remove coworkers from project teams to revoke access to project information.
Please note that if your company has BC Pro, coworkers can manually rejoin projects at any time. For information on how to join projects, please reference the article, “How general contractors can manually join project teams (BC Pro).”
If your company does not have BC Pro, coworkers can only rejoin projects if they are added by a project team member. For information on how to add coworkers to projects, please reference the article, “How general contractors can add coworkers to project teams.”
To remove coworkers from project teams
Begin by navigating to your Projects page.
Click on the project you would like to remove a coworker from.
Click on the “Team” tab.
Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of the coworker you would like to remove.
Click “Remove Teammate.”
You will be asked to confirm removal. Click “Cancel” if you would like your coworker to remain on the project team, or click “Remove Teammate” to remove them.
Removing a coworker from a project team will not send them an email notification, and the project will disappear from their “My Projects” tab on the Projects page.
