Within a project on BuildingConnected, you can publish bid packages one at a time before or after adding bidders to them. Bid packages are categories within a project in which subcontractors are invited to bid under one scope of work. Once bidders are added to a bid package, they will receive an email notification when the bid package is published.
Please note that if the same bidder is added to multiple bid packages, we recommend publishing all bid packages at once as a best practice. This is to ensure the subcontractor only receives one bid invite notification email detailing all bid packages they were invited to versus multiple notification emails when bid packages are published separately.

To publish bid packages
To begin, navigate to your Projects page from the menu on the left-hand side.
Click on the project you would like to publish a bid package under.
To the right of the bid package you would like to publish, hover over the drop-down arrow on the right-hand side in the "Action" column then click "Publish".
Please note you can also publish bid packages from within the bid package by clicking “Publish” in the top right-hand corner then “Publish Bid Package.”
