If you are a subcontractor who has received an invitation to bid through BuildingConnected, you will need to create an account to view project information, files, messages, and bid forms.
To create an account from a bid invitation
Begin by locating the initial invitation email you received, then click “View this RFP.”
A browser window will open. Click "Need an account?".
Enter in your first and last name, complete the reCAPTCHA, and create a password for your account.
Search for the name of your company.
- If your company populates in the search results, select your company name.
Click "Next: Office Details".
Select the office that you are a part or click "Enter a new office location" at the bottom if you don't see your office. Click "Finish Account Profile".
- If you are unable to find your company in the search results, click “Create new company”.
Enter your company information including company name, office address, work performed, labor and enterprise type (if any) then click “Finish Account Profile”.
Enter your job title, work number, then click “Get Started.”
Once have created an account on BuildingConnected, you will be taken to the “Overview” page of the bid invite you received. For information on how to submit your bid, please reference the article, “How to submit your bid through BuildingConnected.”
