BuildingConnected enables general contractors to submit bids on behalf of subcontractors who you have invited to a project. If needed, these revisions can also be deleted by the general contractor. This functionality is helpful when an error is made on a revision made by a general contractor.

To delete a revision submitted on behalf of a subcontractor
Click on the project containing the revision that you wish to delete. Use the “Jump to” feature to quickly find the appropriate subcontractor in your project.
Once you find the subcontractor’s company, navigate to the “Proposals” section on the right. Hover your mouse over the revision you wish to delete until a trash can icon appears on the right. Click on the trash can icon.
Please note that it is only possible to delete revisions that general contractors submit on behalf of a subcontractor. Additionally, it is not possible to delete a bid submitted on behalf of a subcontractor if the subcontractor submits a revision after the bid submitted by the general contractor.
Next you will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the revision. To keep the revision, click on “Cancel.” Otherwise click on “Delete Proposal.”
The revision will be removed immediately. The subcontractor will not be notified however the revision will be removed from their account.
