When creating an account on TradeTapp, we require your company’s Tax ID number as a security precaution to prevent duplicate companies and ensure only those from within your company can join your account.
If you receive a message stating “Sorry, this tax ID has already been used to create an account". This indiciates that one of your coworkers has already set up your company’s account on TradeTapp. It will list the coworker's name and his or her email, informing you to reach out to them to get access to the account associated with this tax ID.
Anyone from within your company who has an active account can also invite you to join your company’s TradeTapp account by following the instructions in the article, “How vendors can add coworkers to their company’s TradeTapp account (Vendors).”
If the user listed on this message no longer works for your company, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can help you get access to your company's account, and include:
- The name of your company
- Your company’s Tax ID number
- Your company's Bank Name
