As a vendor using TradeTapp, your company has a primary contact to centralize communication from general contractors. This means that all qualification invitations and notifications are sent to the primary contact’s email address. If your company’s primary contact no longer works at your company, you can:
- Remove them from your company and assign a new primary contact if you have an active account on TradeTapp.
- Reach out to email@example.com so we can help you create an account and assign a new primary contact.
To assign a new primary contact
Log into your TradeTapp account and click “Manage Users.”
To the right of the coworker you would like to assign as the new primary contact, click “Make Primary Contact.” This coworker will now receive all qualification notifications on behalf of your company. Please note that the “Make Primary Contact” option will only appear next to coworkers who have finished registering their account.
Once a new primary contact is assigned, you can remove the coworker who no longer works there by clicking the “trash” icon to the right of their name.
Type “DELETE” in capital letters, then click “Yes.”
The removed coworker will no longer have access to your company’s TradeTapp account.
To gain access to your company’s TradeTapp account
If you do not already have an account on TradeTapp, we would be happy to help you create one so you can gain access to your company’s TradeTapp account and remove the primary contact who no longer works there.
You can create an account by receiving an invitation from your coworker or by reaching out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. To ensure only employees of your company are added to your company’s TradeTapp account, please include in your email to us:
- Your company’s Federal Tax ID number.
- The name of the bank your company uses.
- The email address you would like your account to be under.
Once we have confirmed your company’s Federal Tax ID number and bank name are correct, we will perform some quick security processes. Once this process is complete, we will send you an invitation to create an account. Once you have created an account, you can follow the steps above to assign a new primary contact and remove your coworker.
