As a general contractor, each coworker within your company is assigned a permission level when they are invited to join your company in TradeTapp.
How to see and edit permission levels in TradeTapp
Only users with "Admin Permissions" can see and edit permission levels. If you are an "Admin", click on your name or your company name in the top right corner.
Click “Manage Users.”
The current permissions level will appear in the “User Role” column.
To view the list of available permissions levels and make updates, click the “Edit” icon to the right of a coworker’s name.
Permissions levels include “Basic”, “Financial”, “Reviewer”, “Accepter”, and “Admin”. To make a change, select the new permission level you want to assign to this person and click "Update". Please reference the article, “How to adjust permission levels in TradeTapp (General contractors)” for more information. Please note that only those with “Admin” permissions can adjust a coworker’s permissions levels.
What do each of the permission levels mean?
What do “Basic” permissions mean?
Basic permissions allow access to invite vendors and request approvals. Within vendor profiles, coworkers with “Basic” permissions will only have access to the “General”, “Contacts”, “Projects”, “Safety”, and “Insurance” tabs, and will not have access to any risk summaries, financials, or approval information.
Please note that while those with “Basic” permissions cannot see any approval details, they can view the “Approvals” page. Clicking into a vendor on the “Approvals” page will not open approval information - they will be taken to the vendor profile containing only information available to those with “Basic” permissions.
What do “Financial” permissions mean?
“Financial” permissions include capabilities within the “Basic” permissions level as well as the ability to view and edit financial data. Coworkers with “Financial” permissions will not have the ability to review approval requests.
What do “Reviewer” permissions mean?
“Reviewer” permissions include capabilities within the “Basic” and “Financial” permissions levels as well as the ability to review approval requests and set qualification statuses.
What do “Accepter” permissions mean?
Accepter permissions include capabilities within the “Basic,” “Financial,” and “Reviewer” permissions levels as well as the ability to accept and override approval requests.
What do “Admin” permissions mean?
“Admin” permissions is an optional setting to assign coworkers the ability to add new coworkers to your company’s TradeTapp account and manage permissions levels for users within your company profile. Admin permissions can be selected in addition to “Basic,” “Financial,” “Reviewer,” or “Accepter” permissions.
