As a general contractor, each coworker within your company is assigned a permission level when they are invited to join your company in TradeTapp.
How to see and edit permission levels in TradeTapp
Only users with "Admin Permissions" can see and edit permission levels. If you are an "Admin", click on your name or your company name in the top right corner.
Click “Settings.”
Click “Manage Users.”
The current permissions level will appear in the “User Role” column.
To view the list of available permissions levels and make updates, click the “Edit” icon to the right of a coworker’s name.
Permissions levels include “Basic”, “Financial”, “Reviewer”, “Accepter”, and “Admin”. To make a change, select the new permission level you want to assign to this person and click "Update". Please reference the article, “How to adjust permission levels in TradeTapp (General contractors)” for more information. Please note that only those with “Admin” permissions can adjust a coworker’s permissions levels.
What do each of the permission levels mean?
There are four permission levels and an Admin option that can be added to any user at any permission level. This table summarizes each permission level with the lowest level on the left.

What do “Basic” permissions mean?
Basic permissions allow access to invite vendors, review vendors, and request approvals.
Invitations
Within vendor profiles, coworkers with “Basic” permissions will only have access to the “General”, “Contacts”, “Projects”, “Safety”, and “Insurance” tabs, and will not have access to any risk summaries, financials, or approval information.
Coworkers with "Basic" permissions can be assigned to review a company, but do not have the ability to set a qualification status.
Approvals
Please note that while those with “Basic” permissions cannot see any approval details, they can view the “Approvals” page. Clicking into a vendor on the “Approvals” page will not open approval information - they will be taken to the vendor profile containing only information available to those with “Basic” permissions.
What do “Financial” permissions mean?
Invitations
“Financial” permissions include capabilities within the “Basic” permissions level as well as the ability to view the "Financial" tab and edit the "Financial Input".
Approvals
Coworkers with “Financial” permissions will not have the ability to review approval requests.
What do “Reviewer” permissions mean?

“Reviewer” permissions include capabilities within the “Basic” and “Financial” permissions levels as well as the ability to set qualification statuses.

What do “Accepter” permissions mean?

What do “Admin” permissions mean?
“Admin” permissions is an level that can be selected in addition to “Basic,” “Financial,” “Reviewer,” or “Accepter” permissions.
Admin users can manage the users within their company profile, as well as access to additional settings including:

- Reminders
- Renewals
- Manage Users
- Approval Rules
- Email Templates
