As a general contractor using TradeTapp, you can add short internal notes, called vendor tags, next to companies so you can flag important information. Vendor tags allow you to keep track of your own preferences as well as the preferences of vendors you work with. For example, you can add the tag “Only small projects” if a company is not qualified for larger projects. You can also add tags such as “HVAC” or “Electrical” to keep track of the scope of work a company performs.
Please note that company tags are only visible to users within your company and vendors do not have the ability to see them.
To add vendor tags in TradeTapp
Click the checkbox next to the vendor you would like to add a tag to.
In the action bat at appears above your invited vendors, click “Add Tags.”
Enter your tag then click “Add Tag(s).” If you would like to add multiple tags, separate each tag by a comma.
Added tags will appear on your “Invitations” dashboard under the “Tags” column and are visible to all coworkers within your company. As noted above, vendors are not able to see tags added by your company.
To remove vendor tags
Click on the checkbox next to the company you would like to edit or remove vendor tags for then click “Add Tags” in the action bar that appears.
Click the “x” next to the tag you would like to remove then close out of the “Add / Edit Tags” window. Your updated tags will automatically save on your “Invitations” dashboard.
