As a general contractor using TradeTapp, you can reject a qualification submission if a questionnaire is incorrect or requires more information. Rejecting a qualification submission will send a notification to the vendor with a customized message so they can make necessary edits and resubmit their questionnaire.
To reject a TradeTapp qualification submission or request corrections
Click on the checkbox next to the company you would like to reject a qualification submission for.
Click “Reject Submission.”
Add a rejection message to send to the vendor, then click “Send.”
Once you click “Send,” the vendor you rejected a qualification submission for will receive an email such as the one below. Your custom rejection message will appear in the “Comment” section at the bottom of the email.
On your “Invitations” dashboard, the rejected qualification will show an “In Progress” status and a label reading, “Rejected.”
If you click into the vendor's profile, you can see the history of this rejection and the rejection message in the activity thread.
On the vendor’s dashboard, their qualification application will move back to the “Awaiting Submission” section and will have the label, “Rejected / Request for Correction.”
Once corrections are made and the vendor resubmits their application, you will receive an email notification of their submission and the questionnaire will show a status of “Submitted” or “Complete” (if the review and/or financial input has already been completed by your company) on your “Invitations” dashboard.
