As a general contractor using TradeTapp, you can return a qualification submission if a questionnaire is incorrect or requires more information. Requesting corrections on a qualification submission will send a notification to the vendor with a message so they can make necessary edits and resubmit their questionnaire.
To request corrections on a TradeTapp qualification submission
Click on the checkbox next to the company and click “Request Corrections”.
You can choose to use a preconfigured email template or enter in a custom message to send to the vendor, then click “Send.”
Once you click “Send,” the vendor will receive an email such as the one below. Your custom message will appear in the “Comment” section at the bottom of the email.
On your “Invitations” dashboard, the returned qualification will show an “In Progress” status.
If you click into the vendor's profile, you can see the history of who requested tge corrections and the message included in the activity thread.
On the vendor’s dashboard, their qualification application will move back to the “Awaiting Submission” section and will have the label, “Rejected / Request for Correction.”
Once corrections are made and the vendor resubmits their application, you will receive an email notification of their submission and the questionnaire will show a status of “Submitted” or “Complete” (if the review and/or financial input has already been completed by your company) on your “Invitations” dashboard.
