As a general contractor using TradeTapp you can create default rules for project approvals to automatically assign coworkers as reviewers (review a request and determine if a vendor is approved for a project) and accepters (accept or override the outcome of a review).
Custom approval rules allow you to auto-assign reviewers and accepters depending upon certain conditions such as:
- Project assessment
- Project value
- Project location (multi-select option)
- Project duration
- Trade type
- EMR
- DART rate
- Recordable rate
- Qualification status
You must have a default rule in order to create a custom rule, because the default rule acts as a catch-all if the conditions in the custom approval rule are not met.
Please note that approval rules can only be set by those with “Admin” permissions. Additionally, those assigned as an accepter must have “Accepter” permissions, and those assigned as a reviewer can have either “Reviewer” or “Accepter” permissions. For information on how to edit permissions within your company, please reference the article, “How to adjust permissions levels in TradeTapp (General contractors).”
