As a general contractor using TradeTapp, you can schedule recurring email notifications to be sent to all of your vendors when their financial statements have expired. This will prompt the vendor receiving a renewal notification to resubmit their questionnaire with updated financial statements. This will help ensure all vendor questionnaires remain updated with the most current financial information.
Please note that all users within your company’s account have the ability to schedule automatic renewal notifications.
To schedule automatic renewal notifications
Click on your name, email, or company name in the top right corner.
To turn automatic renewal notifications on, click the check box next to the greyed out text.
When automatic renewal notifications are on, the text will read, “Automated email notifications are ON.”
Select the number of months old a vendor’s current financial statement must be before a renewal notification is sent. This means that automated renewal notifications are based on the age of submitted financial statements versus the age of submitted questionnaires.
If you have automatic renewal notifications turned on but decide to manually send a vendor a renewal invitation, an automatic renewal will only be sent when that vendor’s financials are the number of months old you have designated.
For example, if your automatic renewals are set to an 18 month period and you manually renew a vendor whose financials are 12 months old, a renewal will still be sent at 18 months if they re-submit their 12 month old financials. But, if the vendor you are renewing submits new financials that are 0 months old, the clock resets and an automatic renewal will be sent when the financials reach 18 months old.
Click “Apply” to save your changes.
Please note that turning automatic renewal notifications on will send renewal notifications to all vendors you have invited to qualify when their financial statements have not been updated for the number of months you have selected.
If you would like to exclude a specific company from receiving automatic renewal notifications, navigate to their vendor profile then toggle “Auto renewal” to “OFF.” This company will not receive automatic renewal notifications.
