As a general contractor using TradeTapp, you can request a project approval for submitted questionnaires. This will send assigned reviewers and accepters a notification so they can complete their review and approve or deny vendors for specific projects.
Please note that all coworkers within your company can request a project approval, and company reviews do not have to be complete for project approvals to be requested.
To request a project approval
Click on the check box next to the vendor you would like to request a project approval for.
Click “Request Approval.”
Enter the project details, then click “Done.”
Add an optional note to the project approval request, then click “Done.”
Review your project approval request, then click “Send Request.”
Your company’s reviewer(s) and accepter(s) will receive an email notifying them of the new project approval request and your request will appear in the “Approvals” page.
Once your request is approved or denied, you will receive an email notification. If you do not wish to receive these types of emails, you can turn them off under the “Email Notifications” section within “Settings.” For more information on how to do so, please reference the article, “How to adjust notification preferences in TradeTapp (General contractors).”
In your “Approvals” dashboard, you will also see the result of your project approval request in the “Result” column.
To delete a project approval request
From the “Approvals” page, select the vendor you would like to delete a project approval request for then click “Delete” in the action bar that appears. Please note that approval request can be deleted at any time, even if your request has been approved or denied.
Deleting a project approval request will not send an email notification to reviewers and accepters, but the project approval request will be removed from their “Approvals” page.
