As a general contractor using TradeTapp, you can add filters on your list of prequalifications to track specific companies you have invited to prequalify by more detailed information. Once filtered, you can also save your view so that each time you log in, that is the filtered list you will see.
To filter your “Invitations” dashboard in TradeTapp
Click “Add Filter” on the left-hand side of your “Invitations” dashboard.
A list will appear and you can use the scrollbar to see all the available filters. Select the item you would like to filter by.
Each of the filters will have additional details that you can add. Complete the selections that appear in the left side panel and select “Apply Filter” to filter your report.
Your “Invitations” dashboard will update to show only the vendors who apply to the selected filter, and a label for the filter will appear on the left-hand side in the Filters section.
Please note you can add multiple filters to your “Invitations” dashboard by repeating the steps outlined above. If you are also looking to customize the columns of information that you see, please reference, "How to customize which columns appear in your “Invitations” dashboard (General contractors)".
Examples:
- Filtering for expired qualification statuses
- Filter by specific insurance expiration dates (i.e. filtering for Professional Expiration insurance policies that expire before 1/1/20). Selecting the calendar symbol allows you to set the date on this filter.
To remove filters from your “Invitations” dashboard
To remove applied filters, click the "x" next to the filter’s label in the “Filters (If Applied)” section on the left-hand side of your “Invitations” dashboard. Removing all selected filters will show all vendors you have invited to qualify.
To save your filters
You can save the view that you are looking at with the filters you've set. To do so, open up the "Saved Views" section under the filters.
Click "Save" and a new line "untitled view" will appear. You can click on the line and edit the name as desired.
Click "Save" next to your customized view or click "x' if you want to remove it.
Once you have saved a view, you can now select it from the dropdown as your "Default View". Each time you log in, this will be the view with the filters and any column customization that you have applied.
