Your subscription to Bid Board Pro gives you access to customizable reports about your company’s performance that can be used to help you make business decisions. In addition to being able to create custom reports, you also have access to report templates.
Report templates are pre-populated lists that highlight the following criteria:
- All Opportunities
- Archived bids
- Assigned to Me
- Awaiting Response
- Due in Two Weeks

To search in a report template
There are three items that you can search for using the “Find in view” box
- Client Name
- Job Name
- Job Location
Enter in any of the items above into the “Find in view” box.
To create a custom report from a template
Please note that report templates cannot be directly modified. However, a copy of the report template can be made and filters can be applied to the copy to create a custom report that meets your needs.
There are two ways to create a custom report from a template:
- Click on “Create from template.”
- Use the drop-down menu and select “Copy”.
The copy will be created automatically and you will see it listed under “My Reports.” Additionally, the names of all copied reports start with “Copy of” for ease.

To edit the name of the copied report
Start by selecting the appropriate report from the list. Double click on the report name or click on the “Edit” button next to the report’s name.
Type the desired name and click “Enter” on your keyboard to save the changes. The name will automatically update under the “My Reports” list.
To export report templates
Start by navigating to the report template that you’d like to export. Click on the drop-down menu located at the top right side of the page.
Click on “Export” from the list.
The download will automatically start. Once the report is downloaded onto your computer, you can send the downloaded file to colleagues or team members as an attachment in an email.
