This will help you and your team seamlessly transition from pre construction to project management - ultimately saving you time and eliminating mistakes.

Push files and project information from BuildingConnected to PlanGrid
Once your accounts are connected, you can push files and project information from BuildingConnected to PlanGrid. To do so, click the drop-down to the right of the opportunity you would like to push to PlanGrid. Click “Push to PlanGrid.”
Alternatively, from within the opportunity, click the drop-down to the right of the status. Click “Push to PlanGrid.”
Confirm that the details are correct, then click “Push to PlanGrid.”
Please note that if you have not already connected your PlanGrid account with your BuildingConnected account, you will be asked to do so at this step. For a detailed walkthrough on how to do so, please reference the “To connect your PlanGrid account to BuildingConnected” section above.
All files from the opportunity will be pushed to your PlanGrid account. These files will become “Documents” in PlanGrid and the folder structure is maintained in PlanGrid. It is not possible to select and push only a subset of the files. Additionally, internal files will not be pushed.
Please note that your email and employment must be verified on your BuildingConnected account in order to be able to push files and project information to PlanGrid. If you are listed as a vendor on an opportunity, you will not be able to push files to PlanGrid. Please also note that any time an opportunity is pushed to PlanGrid, team members will not be automatically added to the project in PlanGrid. If the project is NDA protected, you will need to consent to the NDA before you are able to push files to PlanGrid.
Project files hosted on Box.com will not push to PlanGrid, and PlanGrid may not support all file types. If a file does not copy over to your project in PlanGrid, we recommend manually uploading the file directly in PlanGrid.
Once a project is successfully created in PlanGrid, you will receive an email notification detailing the number of files that were successfully pushed and if any files failed to copy over.
