As a subcontractor with Bid Board Pro, you can share the reports you create in BuildingConnected with your colleagues so that it is more accessible and you do not need to export them to Excel.
To share a report with colleagues, start from the “Bid Board” page and then click on the “Reports” tab.
Click on the report that you want to share.
Press the “Share” button.
A pop-up window will appear. There are two ways you can share reports with colleagues.
- Sharing with another office in your company
- Send a shareable link
To share a report with another office in your company
Click on the box next to the office that you would like to share the report with. Please note that you can only share with other offices in your company that have a Bid Board Pro subscription. The office that you share with will not receive a notification that it has been shared with them. You will need to notify your team outside of BuildingConnected that this has been done.
To send a shareable link
Slide the toggle button under “Shareable Link”.
Click on “Copy link” to copy the link and you can send it to any of your colleagues.
Any reports shared with you will appear in the “Shared with Me” section. You cannot edit a report that has been shared with you. If you would like to customize a shared report, you will need to copy the report and then you can make edits.
