As a general contractor, notifications from TradeTapp allow you to stay up to date on the status of all of the qualifications for your company. This article walks through which notifications are sent to general contractors and what they look like. It also notes which notifications can be adjusted and which ones cannot be adjusted.
The following notifications can be adjusted in your settings:

- Any new vendor submission is made
The vendor has clicked submit on a new application or submitted corrections on a rejected application or submitted a renewal application. Any time a vendor submits their qualification to your company, you will receive a notification. It is not dependent on whether you invited the subcontractor or not.
- Any new vendor submission has been completed
This email is sent when someone on your team or TradeTapp’s financial services finishes the Financial Input section on a vendor’s profile. This vendor’s risk profile is now populated with financial risk and risk mitigation recommendations for you to review. Any time a vendor’s profile moves to the “Complete” status, you will receive a notification. It is not dependent on whether you invited the subcontractor or if you are a reviewer on the prequalification.
- Any new external project reference has been completed
Any time a project reference is done for a vendor, you will receive a notification. It is not dependent on whether you invited the subcontractor or if you are a reviewer on the prequalification.
- Any new project award request has been reviewed or closed
When any new project approval has been completed, you will receive a notification. It is not dependent on whether you request the project approval or if you are a reviewer or acceptor on the project approval.
- Assigned reviewer has completed their review of vendor submission
This email is sent each time a reviewer has completed their review on a vendor’s profile. If there are multiple reviewers on a vendor’s profile, you will receive multiple emails for each reviewer who has completed their review. You will only receive this notification if you have assigned reviewers to a vendor’s prequalification. You will be notified when someone you assigned has completed their review.
The following notifications are automatically sent and the settings cannot be adjusted:
- A qualification review was assigned to you in TradeTapp
- A project approval request was assigned to you in TradeTapp (Reviewer)
- A project approval request was assigned to you in TradeTapp (Acceptor)
