Multiple TradeTapp invites are synced to the same BuildingConnected company
- The BC logo is colored.
- Hover over the logo and there will be a note that states, “Multiple invites are mapped to this company.” Mappings are based on the invite's primary contact email address. Duplicate mappings occur when the primary contacts for multiple invites belong to the same company.
- Here are steps you can take to resolve this:
- Locate the duplicate invites by searching on the email domain of the primary contact or search for a similar company name in your vendor invitations grid.
- Once you find a duplicate:
- If the invitation is in the “Not Started” or “Imported” submission status, you can delete the duplicate invite accordingly. Please reference, “How to revoke an invite (General contractors)” on how to cancel an invite.
- If the duplicate invite is in the “In Progress”, “Submitted”, or “Complete” status, please reach out to support@tradetapp.com indicating which invite should be deleted and we would be happy to take care of this for you.
- Please see the example screenshot below: the invites for ‘BuildingConnected’ and ‘BuildingConnected Support’ are mapped to the ‘Gr8 Builders’ company in BuildingConnected.
TradeTapp invite is not synced to a company in the BuildingConnected network
- The BC logo is grayed out.
- Our system is unable to find a company to map to.
- For context, we sync TradeTapp invites to the BuildingConnected network based on the invite’s primary contact email address. If we don’t find an exact match on the email address, our system attempts to find a unique match on the user’s email domain. If we find multiple companies with that domain or no companies at all, then we are unable to sync to a company in the network.
- If you are aware of the company that this invite should be mapped to, please reach out to support@tradetapp.com with the following information and we can help map the invite to the BuildingConnected company.
- The “Company Name” in TradeTapp
- The name of the company in BuildingConnected
- Please see the example screenshot below: the invite for ‘Hart Millwork’ is not synced to any company in BuildingConnected.
Additionally, to help you more easily view and filter for all the syncing statuses to BuildingConnected, two columns are available on the vendor invites grid.
